Gary M's 1967 Satellite
Here you will find progress pics of the next project I am doing for a customer - a 1967 Satellite. Kinda like Deja Vu all over again - pics look just like the ones of Dan S's '66 Belvedere LOL
Plans are to finish welding in the patches on the floor pans, install a set of frame connnectors, delete the holes for the rocker trim and antenna, straighten out the body and shoot it the new B5 Blue that is being used on the new Challengers. Body work wise, it is really not too bad. The owner already replaced the lower quarter with aftermarket sheet metal so there is almost no rust to deal with. I just need to work out the quarters to make them nice and straight. First, I had to completely strip off the laquer primer the owner applied so that I could see what I was really dealing with. Luckily it was not too bad. Then I applied a coat of epoxy primer to seal the body against any moisture. Then I started to smooth it out.

My camera does not capture the color too well but it looks great in the sun!
